Hi Kelly! Wow, you have been a part of alot of real estate companies/brokers! Take care!
Kristin,
With everyone of them there are reasons why I left. You grow and learn along the way, sometimes it is just about putting more money back in your own pocket and avoiding some franchise fees and expenses. However, you can learn a lot by working for various companies. Overall, I am happiest at Red Hot Realty. A small shop with few agents and no demands. I can actually work the business and not attend meetings. I take care of my own education as you can tell by continuing to gain designations and certifications. You have to have the knowledge and stay on top of the latest cutting edge technologies. No one can do this for another person, you have to do it for yourself. You are running a business afterall. Have a great day!
WOW! With a resume like that, I would hire you! I wish Red Hot was here in Austin. I would love to skip the zillion meetings we must attend.
;)
Hey Betina,
You are an Independent Contractor. Keller Williams is NOT paying your taxes. They tried to make the meetings sound mandatory when I worked for them too and that is why I left. No meeting is mandatory unless they wish to make you an employee and file your taxes for you and give you benefits too. Don't let them fool you. That is why I prefer the smaller mom and pop shops. Have a good one.
Kelly
