Focus On Youth Initiative - One Great Reason To Live In The Pine Bush Central School District Area

Pine Bush School District residents who are interested in the youth of our district may want to attend a quarterly meeting of the Focus On Youth Initiative Committee.  The next meeting is Wednesday March 4th at 9:00 AM at the Crawford Government Center on Route 302 just across from the high school.

This committee has been instrumental in many local efforts to help the youth of the district. During these meetings parents, senior citizens, school officials, local youth organization directors and staff, and business people hear reports on the various programs and initiatives that are being offered to the youth of the district and discuss ways that we can help facilitate coordination of programs.  I enjoy these meetings because they reinforce the reasons that I choose this district to raise my children in and let's me be aware of programs that may help my clients in my real estate business.  

Focus On Youth began from the effort of Town Of Crawford Police Chief Dan McCann and others in the community who wanted to help our young people feel more connected.  It is a wonderful catalyst for great improvements in the lives of the students in the Pine Bush School District and as a result the area has benefited.  Take some time this week to check the group out and add your encouragement to our youth.  If you live in the district and have about an hour on Wednesday morning to give to our kids please try to attend.
