I just want to let everyone know that no matter what market we are in, I love working with the first time home buyer.  I always feel like I am really helping people learn what is involved in purchasing a house.  They are always grateful and appreciative of what I teach them.  I have a lot of patience with my first time home buyers.  And, I tell them that they should never get discouraged; that when they walk into the house, that they should feel like they've arrived at their home.  They should feel really good about the house and that they want to live there.  After all, I have helped them find their dream home! 

And, today that is still true.  When they fall in love, it is the whole package.  It is the lifestyle, the neighborhood, the whole ball of wax.  You can still have the picturesque dream that you want!  Don't you agree?

I absolutely agree, Phyllis! I also LOVE first-time homebuyers. They are sponges for information, and so appreciative of the help and guidance I give them.

These buyers are critical to our real estate market and our economy because they start the chain of transactions that will bring us to recovery. I will do everything I can to help them buy the first home of their dreams!

It's nice to see other realtors on the same page.  I really want to concentrate on what makes this business great as opposed to all the negative stuff we hear.  It's also nice to feel appreciated.  Sometimes it might not be appreciated at the time.  But, later, when buyers realize that they got a really good deal, with great interest rates, and great price, I am sure they will thank us.
