Tomorrow is a kinda big day for me.  It's the first time I'll be attending an o-fficial REBar camp. It's the closest one I've found -- Fredericksburg, VA -- which is still about a 70 mile hike for me through some of the worst rush hour known to mankind.  It's being put on by the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors and taking place in their brand new building. Lots of interesting folks should be there including NAR's shiny, new Director of Social Media, Todd Carpenter.

I noticed from the attendee list that there will be a good handful or so of Rainers as well as the fine folks who put my other blog together -- Brad and Bobby Carroll of Dakno Marketing.

It promised to be a pretty good day. Lots of different sessions on lots of different aspects of the Web 2.0 world with information being shared by one an all.

I'm psyched.  Even though I'm missing the Happy Hour tonight and have to get up at the crack of dawn to drive down tomorrow.  The sacrifices we make, huh?

Yowsa.

Hey there, Mr. Ken Montville.

I know an "official REBar Camp" may mean something to the techo savvy, but it doesn't mean much to me, because I don't know what this means.

Appears to have to do with the so-called social media fad/craze that is going on, on the Internet.

Care to shed some light on the subject?

Hey Ken, I am staying at my Mom's in Warrenton VA tonight so I can skip the beltway tomorrow.   I will look for you tomorrow.  I am really excited to go.  It will be my first official REBar Camp too.

Lucky you! I am bummed that when I tried to RSVP it was full so you are getting in to meet alot of really "cool" people! I am looking forward to hearing the report from everyone.

The REBar Camps are really gathering momentum, and Virginia really has a great group of bloggers. I'll be following the event on Twitter.
