Cold front blowing in Lewisville, TX

While I was out driving around running errands one afternoon in Lewisville, Texas I looked up and saw this amazing cloud formation building as a cold front was blowing in. Of course, I had to pull over, jump out with my camera and dodge traffic to capture it before it changed again.

This is what people like me do whenever we see something we think is amazing, beautiful, strange, fascinating and want to share with others... or just look at for ourselves. My family thinks I'm crazy about my obsession with photography. My friends know I'm crazy... about shooting photos anyway. They all still LOVE me so I just say they are all crazy about me—LOL!

Hope you enjoy this image as much as I did shooting it!

This is my first post to this great group I just discovered today. If it weren't for Robert's (Swetz) comment on another blog I would have missed this fun group. I'm excited to be a member and can't wait to see more of what everyone has to offer.

Hi Karen—What a terrific way to describe this skyscape - I like it! We are in perfect agreement concerning the snow around D.C. Always good to see you and hear your comments.

Hi Sharon—Thanks so much for your great comments.

Lulugraphix is the name of my design company. I'm in mid-stream of revamping and redirecting my time and energy = passion, so the logo is a placeholder only. I'm still working on the final logo header. Not smart to show this this way, but there it is anyway.

Hola Randy—I know exactly where Copper Canyon is located. How long has it been since you've visited your parents? The development is crazy between there, Flower Mound and Lewisville. I've been living in Texas off-and-on for many year. The Blue Northers that blow is come in very fast.

Hi Craig—There you are again. This particular sky was hard to miss unless one looks down a lot. My problem is I walk around looking up most of the time which causes me to run into things or even people - LOL! However, I get to see amazing things. Thanks.

Beautiful.  One of my favorite things is when I see clouds that look like the ocean like that.

Hi Tamara—Thanks for stopping by - it's great to see you again. Everytime I leave my camera at home I end up kicking myself, so I finally got tired of having a bruised tush. We all find our motivation in our own ways... LOL!
