........but I was busy making a snowman with my son!

Snowman

We woke up this morning to six inches of snow in Catonsville, MD. What's a girl to do, but bundle up and head outside and forget that it's really a Monday morning.

Granted, he is not the most attractive snowman I have ever seen, (or built) but this was the first official snowman my son helped to create. Finding a hat was the hardest part. (Sharing his clothing is obviously not my child's strong point!)

I worked most of the weekend, so it was a good time to enjoy some mandatory R & R.

I hope your snow day was fun too!

Love the picture and your snowman.  Times like these are the memories of tomorrow.  Grab the moment and cherish it 'cause they grow up very quickly.

We don't get many snow days out here in the OC, but I did take the kids to Disneyland last Friday.  I'm glad you took some time off with your little one.

Ellie:  What a cool thing to do.  I am assuming that is you and your son in the picture.  If so... you're just a youngster, aren't you ?  All this knowledge and ability you display... I continue to be impressed.  Actually... earlier today when I saw the news of all the snow... I thought of you and the fun you might be having.  Play nice... and take care.

Good for you for putting some perspective in your life-working all the time and missing the important things is wrong headed.

Good morning. Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death.
