Sorry I could not take your call.........

........but I was busy making a snowman with my son!

Snowman

We woke up this morning to six inches of snow in Catonsville, MD. What's a girl to do, but bundle up and head outside and forget that it's really a Monday morning.

Granted, he is not the most attractive snowman I have ever seen, (or built) but this was the first official snowman my son helped to create. Finding a hat was the hardest part. (Sharing his clothing is obviously not my child's strong point!)

I worked most of the weekend, so it was a good time to enjoy some mandatory R & R.

I hope your snow day was fun too!

Ellie, everyone deserves a little down time once in a while. It gave you much more too in the memories with your son playing in the snow.

Ellie - that photo is priceless! What a great memory with your son. Looks like you two had a great time!

You always have to make time for that! Here in CT we had 14"! Come onnnnnn Sprrrring.

Ellie- What a cute 'first' snowman and big too. You did the right thing on a day like today. Spent time with your little one in the snow.

Love the picture and your snowman. Times like these are the memories of tomorrow. Grab the moment and cherish it 'cause they grow up very quickly.

We don't get many snow days out here in the OC, but I did take the kids to Disneyland last Friday. I'm glad you took some time off with your little one.

I continue to be impressed. Actually... earlier today when I saw the news of all the snow... I thought of you and the fun you might be having. Play nice... and take care.

Ellie, that's a great snowman! I remember those days, I'm sure your son enjoyed playing in the snow, we need those breaks from the working world.

Doubt that you missed any business as all your clients were likely out making snowmen as well!

Good for you for putting some perspective in your life-working all the time and missing the important things is wrong headed.

Awww....Ellie! That is the cutest snowman I've ever seen! I love it! Makes me want to throw my coat on and jump in and help. Your son is such a cutie! :)
