Did you know that a refrigerator accounts for 8% of your home's total energy use? Save money on your energy bill by:

·         Maintaining proper refrigerator temperatures between 35°F - 38°F. The freezer should be 0°F - 5°F.

·         Cleaning the dust from condenser coils. This can result in up to 6% energy savings.

·         Checking the door seal with a dollar bill. If the dollar bill slips or is easily removed, either             the hinges require adjustment or the seal requires replacement.
