March DID come in like a lion...but this weekend's mid 70's temperatures are a sign that March is going out like a lamb! Personally, despite how beautiful everything looked the other day, I'm looking forward to the warm weather.

Linda,

Beautiful picture of your area.  I have been there, but always when it is warm & sunny. I just read a comment you made on Bloggers Lament, or similar post.  It reminded me to look at your site today and I am glad I did.  Yesterday I posted pictures of Lake Erie & nearby stream with snow & ice--before it disappears.

I will see you again...in the rain.

I currently live in Los Angeles but lived many years in NY and sometimes I miss real winters when I see beautiful photographs like this one. (I don't however miss the cold)

Craig- and your photos of Hemlock Bluffs are equally as beautiful.  This area is so pretty, it's hard to get an ugly photo though isn't it. (except maybe of a red chicken- lol)

Mary- thanks for stopping in. As a former Buffaloian, those pictures look way too familiar.  I'm ready for spring.

John- I lived in San Diego and Buffalo. I prefer San Diego! Luckily here in NC, we have both. The snow only lasts a day and it'll be 70 today!

Amy- I'm with you, can't wait to see the azaleas in bloom!

Beautiful photo, Linda. That may be like a lion in your neck of the woods. Here we call it a light dusting, LOL

Linda, I loved this picture of yours with the snow. Very peaceful. Snow just makes the whole air so quiet and muffles all sound.

Are you sure you didn't mean polar bear? Lions like it a little hotter than the temperature in my office now that I've looked at that cold, snowy pictures -- LOL.

Mary certainly not like winter in Colorado, but this is enough for me.

Debi- It really was a light dusting, but still unusual for March here.

Gary- Thanks! I really loved the color of the sky right at that minute, contrasting with the snow.

Russell- you're so right! Where did they come up with that analogy anyway?
