So, I know I've touched on this topic before (I have recommended one other site like this - Ping.com) but I thought this one was worth mentioning as well. I came across Utterli.com, which offers the same basic service as Ping.com, except it is more focused on sites like Twitter, and Flickr. Unlike Facebook and MySpace, these sites are more oriented towards brief posts and photos.
So, here is the skinny on Utterli.
This is a FREE service that automatically posts to several social networking sites, a few of which I mentioned above. How it works:
1. Sign up for an Utterli account
2. Add each of your social networking ID's & PW's to the site.
3. Start posting from your phone or computer!
One notable feature is that this service focuses more on posting from your phone (again, is suited for brief, status updates, etc). So this is very cool, we are all constantly on the run, and this is one way to stay updated without having to be sitting at your computer.
A few important notes: As with Ping.com, this does not take the place of actually logging in every once in awhile and actively participating in the social networking sites, but is a great way to make quick updates to several sites at once!
All this said, I think this will be my last post on this type of site (Unless of course something really great comes along and blows my mind!). The bottom line is, if you are interested there are tons of these sites out there, it just takes a little searching for the one that is right for you!
