This evening I was coming home from Satellite Beach, Florida.  I had been just blocks from the beach. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and it was warm and sunny earlier in the day.  The weather had been perfect.  As I crossed the Eau Gallie Causeway I noticed white caps on the Indian River Lagoon. Now we don't see that everyday.

This would be a perfect day to be out windsurfing.

Sandy, on the Indian River or Banana River I used to notice the same things on windy days when coming back from Merritt Island to U.S, 1. Around my area here in Texas I see such whitecaps on fairly windy days but not near as expansive or pronounced as on the intracoastal waterways.

Oh my goodness, those are great looking photos.  Reminds me a lot of the sea wall at Kona Hawaii.  By the way Sandy.  I've been meaning to ask you - is "Sandy Shores" your real name, married name, or "stage" name?

Hi Sandy, Beautiful photos, there is something very calming about water - even water with white caps.

Thanks, Sandy.

Gary, It's not something we see everyday, but we sure know that's it's windy when we do see them!

Paul, I bet it does beat those cold temperatures.

John, It has been a little bit nippy in the mornings. That's for sure.

Hi Ann, It is indeed a beautiful setting, overlooking the river.

HI Myrl, Overlooking the river, it's gorgeous. My maiden name used to be Whelan (pronounced Waylon).  I married a man 20 years ago with the last name of Shores. So there you have it Sandy Shores. It works out beautifully for me in real estate. No one ever forgets my name!

Hi Miss Mary, I think you're right. It is very calming to be around water.

Tony, It's been a bit chilly here in the AM, but it seems to warm up in the afternoons. Warm weather, heading your way!
