Stepping Over the Line of Integrity - "Can't Touch This"

Everything about the Lionfish says, "Don't Touch" and "Can't Touch This"! The poisonous venom is delivered from the spiky dorsal fins and can be extremely painful to humans along with symptoms of nausea and breathing difficulties; though rarely fatal.

Life throws curve balls and it seems at more times than others. Sometimes life dumps a whole was of them right in our laps. We go through life with ups and downs and all arounds. The trick is to take each one as a learning lesson. Regardless if it's negative or positive...there IS a learning lesson.

In our Real Estate Industry we follow our Code of Ethics. If you lead life with a solid foundation built on healthy beliefs and values then it surely is not a problem to follow rules in the industry, in your association, the law and so forth. But......

Touch the deep black pit of stepping over that line of integrity and you'll get a sharp sting of reality.

Sally good comparison. A reputation takes a life time to build and a few seconds to destroy.

We already have more than enough people who questions our ethics, we do not need to add to the problem.

Thanks George... and the importance is detrimental to ones life and livelihood. A husband/wife team here (Mortgage Co) are in Federal prison for bilking a few homeowners.... even life after prison is destroyed here.

JL: No kidding...it's the rest who stand out in the crowd.

What great advice we should all learn from our mistakes.

It seems to be a big sticking point from the photo:)

So important to remember this in a market where some agents will be desperate and have a tendency to step over that line! When I worked for Morgan Guaranty Trust early in my career, we were taught to follow that rule of JP Morgan's "Always do first-class business in a first-class way." That pretty much sums it up for me.
