No matter what your political persuasion, I don't think you can deny the power of the graph posted above.  Just wondering, who is going to make whole all the shareholders that lost their savings and retirement money in the stock market.  Why stop at bailing out homeowners who have lost equity? Will we be bailing out 401(k) plans next?

Next time, Keep the Change

Michelle,

I could not have said it better myself. We can do without this socialist agenda!

Michelle,

You are right on target. This kind of change is not what many who voted for him wanted.

They have been decieved!

Michelle - take the market back to May last year when Obama became the apparent democrat nominee, the market was over 13000. A loss of over 46%

MICHELLE,

It would be more fun to overlay a mark on your excellent chart everytime BO spoke publicly about his Ivy League ideas.  That is a roller coaster that only goes down hill.

Michelle - between Obama's War on Prosperity and continually talking of this grave crisis that can only be fixed by the government and his trillion dollar "stimulus" plan (oh, that's right, it passed)..... - must be Bush's fault.

For someone who was already making speeches about how he was going to save the economy before he took office they are taking their sweet time. March 5 and still no plan for the banking industry. I believe he wants a complete collapse of the economy in order to further his agenda.

We can have big federally owned poor houses that all the old folks can live in.  At least everyone will be equally in poverty.  You are right - they can keep their "change" .

Nice graph Michele. The thing just keeps on tanking. We probably will be bailing them out as well.

Michelle, excellent point on where is the bailout for the 401K's. I not sure the government cares about that. I think they've figured out they need for everyone to have a physical address, however. They need a place to mail the checks in order to take care of us subjects. Or is it comrades.
