Marion, MA Market Conditions

Marion is a historic, seaside community, located along the Massachusetts South Coast. This is the region along Buzzards Bay, between RI and Cape Cod.

Marion has a historical Village center with many homes from the 18th and 19th Centuries. This helps shape the character of this quaint, seaside town. In the t own center is a town beach, pier, moorings, restaurants, and a vibrant waterfront.

Marion also has several beachy, waterfront communities like: Converse Point, Piney Point, Allen's Point, Silver Shell, and Planting Island. It has golf, tennis, the Beverly Yacht Club. Marion is also home to Tabor Academy.

30 minutes from Cape Cod, Newport, RI, and Providence, RI; and 50 mins from Boston, Martha's Vineyard (via direct Ferry) and two international Airports, Marion is a lovely place to live year round or to have a beach home.

People who buy summer homes in Marion find that there is no increase in traffic in season and that they avoid the congestion on Cape Cod. Meanwhile they are within an hour of several great destination spots mentioned above.
