Since many of my clients are tech savvy their have unique demands!!!

 

My clients demand:

1. Access to MLS data! - Search for homes

2. Google map data link on the area, (near a busy road, railroad?) showing school locations, shopping etc... Example   (I am expanding this)

3. Tax data. Not just the tax rate but also the history of assessed values, with owner records

4. Comps of active, under contract and sold's

5. for me to "Answer the phone".... They actually want to talk with me when they call.

6. Access to me by text, and instant messaging

My background is in Engineering. I was born and raised in the Silicon Valley where I ran my own Engineering bussiness for 20+ years. So I am used to technology and I love when my clients push me into new directions...

I enjoy technology and am one of the 'younger' agents who admittedly can get frustrated when having to wait days for a response to an e-mail from another agent...and it seems lately that nobody answers the phone.  I am the voicemail queen. =)

Hi Charles; I love tech so love tech savy clients also. What I find tough is having a client that does not have email!  I resort to dropping things off at her house but sure is hard!!

I find that computer savvy clients are great.

But I'm sure that we all have those that are a bit too savvy, which tell us how to do our jobs.  They have too much time and tap into all of our resources.

This is why we are running around showing 10-12 homes, when we should only be showing 3-5.

I can tell you are tech savvy so good for you.  Some of my clients (who are now friends) have pushed me along the way.  And it has been a good thing for me.
