A Look Back - 25 Years of Metrolist

• 1984 - Metrolist founded by the six metro Denver Realtor® associations to deliver vital information to real estate professionals. Metrolist is incorporated in March and opens for business in August. Metrolist hires its first employee, Pat Bybee (currently CEO of Metrolist).
• 1986 - Metrolist's online system goes live, offering access to MLS data. Metrolist moves to a larger facility with a training room.
• 1989 - Metrolist publishes the first MLS Book and MLS Sold Book.
• 1993 - Metrolist develops proprietary MLS system and Property Data Center (public records).
• 1997 - Metrolist becomes the only MLS in the country to offer Ghost and Refresh features for MLS listings.
• 1998 - Metrolist launches MYmls.com, changing the landscape of Colorado real estate, and driving the use of the Internet in the real estate community.
• 1999 - Metrolist celebrates its 15th Anniversary by offering free access on Customer Appreciation Days (15th of each month) and launches REcolorado.com, a website allowing public access to MLS listings.
• 2000 - Metrolist survives Y2K with no downtime, increases performance by 1000% and introduces "virtual tour" capabilities.
• 2001 - Metrolist launches MYpdc.com, providing access to public records over the Internet, and becomes the first MLS in the nation to offer IDX (Internet Data eXchange).
• 2003 - Metrolist launches the Colorado Cooperative MLS (CCM) and adds Listing History to the system.
• 2004 - The Mountain Metro Association of Realtors® joins Metrolist.
• 2006 - Metrolist prints the last of the MLS books and launches the Sold eBook and CMA 1.0, a sneak-peek into the next generation of MLS technology.
• 2007 - Metrolist launches PrimeAccess®, the most advanced MLS system in the nation, and PrimeAccess Mobile, providing MLS access from your mobile phone.
• 2008 - Metrolist incorporates Front Range listings into PrimeAccess Search, and adds to the Metrolist suite of professional-grade tools with ShowingAssist, ListHub, InstanetForms plus DocBox, PrimeAccess Maps, PrimeAccess Prospect and more.
• 2009 - Metrolist celebrates 25 years of service to the Colorado real estate community.
