I can remember waiting at train crossings when I was a young boy. We had to cross two sets of tracks within a half mile of our home and we  would have to wait sometimes a good while for the train to pass.

To help pass the time Dad would always recite a short riddle that I still remember:

Railroad crossing

Look out for the cars!

Can you spell that

Without any R's ?

And of course the answer is yes   ..... "THAT"

Oh....  for the good ol' days.   Next time you are waiting for a train with young-uns try this riddle on them .
