So you want to move to Daytona Beach?  That's great news!

I'm proud to be a Daytona Beach native. If you spend just a little bit of time here, you'll find that I'm part of a rare breed. But this also means that I'm uniquely qualified to help you with all your real estate needs! To view my listings, go to www.RealEstatebyLisaHill.com

Now let's get your started on learning the lay of the land.

Many people are not aware of the fact that what they consider to be Daytona Beach, is actually several small cities, all grouped together. Daytona Beach is the tourist hot spot of the area. It will be up to you to decide which city and area you prefer, before you buy real estate here. And I am able to answer all your questions about the different cities, neighborhoods, schools and more.

Read on, for just a little bit of helpful information.

Follow this link to see the actual layout of the cities, as well as the public service departments

  • The best part about Daytona Beach is the oceanfront and riverfront condos, quaint homes and overall charm.
  •  And there are several golf communities, one of them being securely gated.

If you're looking for newer and/or more upscale communities and you want to be on "The Mainland", meaning everything west of the Intracoastal Waterway, your interests will lean toward Port Orange or Ormond Beach. In these cities, you'll find many Planned Urban Developments, with deed restrictions, to maintain the aesthetics and property values.

Or perhaps you'd like a riverfront condo in the heart of Daytona Beach? I have just the thing for you!

As I previously stated, many people believe this to all be part of Daytona Beach. In actuality, on The Mainland, Ormond Beach is on the north end of the corridor, and Port Orange is located on the south end of the corridor. The actual order of all the Mainland cities, from north to south, is Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Daytona Beach, South Daytona and Port Orange. dock

If you want to be on the peninsula (the strip of land between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean), known to locals as "The Beachside", the order of the cities, from north to south, is Ormond by the Sea, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Wilbur by the Sea, and Ponce Inlet.

Hopefully, you'll find this information to be helpful. If you're interested in investing in real estate in any of these cities, as well as the New Smyrna Beach area, make a Smart Choice and call me today.
