Just a minute ago I was looking through the statistics from ActiveRain's web traffic logs.  In particular I took a look at the main search phrases used when by people that find ActiveRain through search engines.  I hadn't looked at this in a while and something at once popped out at me.

Top search phrases (May)

Top search phrases (April)

Scrolling down the list for each month I saw hundreds more people coming in on similar terms such as "money merge accounts", "money merge account scams".  So I went to Google and typed in a few of these terms.  In all the instances blog posts from one of our long term members Robert Ashby were in the top three results.  Now that's some pretty powerful search engine mojo for a fairly broad term generated by consistently blogging.

Matt,

Thanks for posting this info here so others can see how well this blogging on AR works.  I was shocked to see this high a ranking, but it shows how AR members can use specific keywords in their title and Google may boost your post high in the rankings and gain more traffic for you, not to mention AR.

I hope people realize how powerful AR and blogging in general are and how blogging on the right topics will bring traffic and build your web presence.  Good stuff.

I have appreciated this forum site very much, and especially the class and integrity of Robert Ashby in his hosting the Money Merge Account discussion. I would like to point out, however, that "Money Merge Account" is not really a 'broad term', Matt. It's a specific, trademarked name of a Program, though Google uses the various words in combinations. Using Money Merge Account, Money Merge Accounts or even Money Merge will bring you pretty consistent results.

Roberts discussion was so high in the rankings for many reasons, one such, due to certain participants engaged in the discussion and using their actual names, which have good/high Google rankings in and of themselves (such as my own name, and that of The Jubilee Project). There is a lot of buzz going on about the Money Merge Account, and frankly, I'm glad this site provided a good, solid forum to discuss the possibilities.

I will say this: I believe this to be a First Class, First Rate, Dynamic site. It's not only impressive when it comes to the vast amount of knowledge stored here, but I was blown away by the calibur of people running it, and participating on it.

I am not waiting any longer: I want to join

Thank you, very much.
