Welcome to AR. I assume you must be fairly new to AR since this is the first time I see your post.
I agree that SCV is a great place to live.
When you refer to value in your post, I'm going to read between the lines and assume that by value you mean much more than property prices and appreciation. This town is all about quality of life and I can't think of a better community to live in. Excellent schools, excellent weather, great people, a thriving local economy.
Its a good life.

Yes, Martin, you are correct on all counts. I have just recently discovered ActiveRain and am surprised that more real estate professionals are not yet using it or other services similar to this.
Santa Clarita is an amazing place to live. I have been here for a little over a year now and it has so much to offer. The schools are excellent, the Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons has great performances, and the people are friendly and caring. I have joined the Rotary Club, which enables me to be part of so much charitable work that I didn't even know was taking place.
