Marilyn: You are absolutely right. Home staging makes it possible for buyers to see the home with its best face forward. And when the home is vacant, buyers aren't looking at how spacious the bedrooms are, or the efficient kitchen. They're looking at the nicks on the baseboard and the spiderweb in the corner. Annie: It is an experiment, of sorts, after our many converstations about business building. I'll let you know how it works out.

Bill: I work at getting press exposure. And when I'm contacted by a journalist, I bend over backwards to make their job as easy as possible. I forward them any blog posts I have written about the subject at hand, plus photos to use as illustration. And I do it quickly - within 2 hours of my interview if possible. It is a strategy that has paid off well. Jo Potvin, in Cincinatti, and I were featured in Green Builder Magazine in January. The article is about 1)the pros of builders using staging to sell their inventory, and 2)why home staging is "green" and what Jo and I are doing to promote that aspect of our businesses. I am awaiting clearance from the publisher before I can post about the article.
