Home Staging Consultations by Los Angeles Times Featured Home Stager
Our Comprehensive Home Staging Consultations act as a 'road map' to prepare your home for sale. We assess your home and tell you everything you need to do to get your home in prime selling condition. You can do all the work yourself, do some of the work and hire us to do the rest, or hire Moving Mountains Design to stage your home to perfection. Some of the items a consultation covers are:
*Paint color choices *Carpet choices (if needed) *Furniture layout and arrangement *Which features of your house to accentuate *Curb appeal *Organizing and decluttering *Pre-moving check list (our staged homes sell quickly and we want you to be ready) *Closet organization check list *Open house prep *Suggested items to purchase (we even tell you where you can buy it!) *Maintenance and repair issues
*We can even help you find a real estate agent, if you don't have one already. We work with many real estate agents in Pasadena, Los Angeles and the San Gabriel valley

I sincerely believe in the "staging" concept - it's hard for the buyers to view a home that's too "full", and when it's completely empty, it seems every flaw is magnified.
Connie: I created the post above using V-Flyer. Nothing to do with AR. Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
Marilyn: You are absolutely right. Home staging makes it possible for buyers to see the home with its best face forward. And when the home is vacant, buyers aren't looking at how spacious the bedrooms are, or the efficient kitchen. They're looking at the nicks on the baseboard and the spiderweb in the corner. Thanks for commenting.
Michelle - I LOVE V-flyer. I have used their site numerous times and found it very easy to navigate. I haven't done one in a bit so.... perhaps for my next blog post, I'll give it another whirl.
Michelle, You did a great job with V Flyer....the post looks wonderful. And every word of it is true, you are the BEST in what you do and acknowledged in the Press quite often for it.
Kathy N: V-flyer now has a new system where you can create your own template. Unfortunately they charge more for it. Not sure I want to go there yet.
Carole: I'm glad you liked the Vflyer. And thank you very much for your kind compliments.
Karen: The thing about Twitter is that it brings a lot more new people to your blog (assuming you tweet new posts) as well as notify your friends what you are up to. I'm glad you like the way it looks.
Annie: It is an experiment, of sorts, after our many converstations about business building. I'll let you know how it works out.
Bill: I work at getting press exposure. And when I'm contacted by a journalist, I bend over backwards to make their job as easy as possible. I forward them any blog posts I have written about the subject at hand, plus photos to use as illustration. And I do it quickly - within 2 hours of my interview if possible. It is a strategy that has paid off well. Jo Potvin, in Cincinatti, and I were featured in Green Builder Magazine in January. The article is about 1)the pros of builders using staging to sell their inventory, and 2)why home staging is "green" and what Jo and I are doing to promote that aspect of our businesses. I am awaiting clearance from the publisher before I can post about the article.
Michelle ~ I love the look of your V-Flyer, you've done a great job with it and I'm sure that new clients will respond very positively. Thanks for sharing this!
Claudia: Thank you. I hope I can work out a deal with Green Builder. It was a very positive message about home staging. They wanted a lot of $ in order to republish and the article is not on line.
