Beachcombers Fun Fair at Ocean Shores Washington March 7-8, 2009!

It's time for our 22nd annual event!

When: Saturday March 7th 9:30am-5pm and Sunday March 8th 11am-4pm

Where: Ocean Shores Convention Center, 120 West Chance A La Mer Ave NW, Ocean Shores, WA

Cost: Adults/Jrs $3, children ages 5-12 $1

This event features exhibits, seminars, information booths and vendors on Saturday and Sunday, a kid's science fair Saturday morning plus nature beach walks on Sunday morning. Browse the exhibits of local beach treasure and compare them to your own finds from the Ocean. Don't know what exactly you have found, bring it and ask an expert for help. Enter your finds, photos and such in 40 different categories. Create artwork from items you have found. Hourly seminars start Saturday at noon.

We love this event! Always reminds us of why we moved to the beach.

I wish we were closer. That would have been fun for the kids to go to. Of course, we were all getting sick this weekend so it wouldn't have worked out this year. Is it always in the beginning of March?

We want to come your way also. Steven has not seen Boundary Dam or fished at Beaver Lake outside of Ione, WA. Any large events in Spokane that we could plan a 2 or 3 day trip around this summer?
