7 Pop-By, Mailing, and Event Ideas to Bring You Luck in March

I love the Buffini idea of sending lottery tickets for luck on St. Patrick's Day.  What else can you send, or do for pop-bys in the Month of March?  Here are some ideas:

 

 

Pop-Bys

1.  Red Sox (or other team) Scarves to celebrate the open of baseball season. Buy a large piece of licensed professional baseball team fleece.  In Massachusetts, of course, we have the beloved Red Sox.  Cut rectangles of the fleece, 6" x 36".  Cut the ends into fringe.  Voila!  Scarves to mail or drop off to sports fans and/or their kids.  Great for that Little League team you're sponsoring too. 

2.  Girl Scout cookies.  Oh boy, spring is Girl Scout cookie time.  Buy a couple dozen boxes, wrap them in pretty paper, and pop-by with them.  Who doesn't love to have a box of Thin Mints in their freezer?

3.  Tulips and Daffodils.  Our local grocers sell 1/2 dozen bunches of these spring favorites.  Pick up an armful to deliver as you zip around with your moonroof open.

4.  Hot Cross Buns.  Only available this time of year, these buns will be a welcome accompaniment to Sunday morning coffee.

Mailings

5.  Shamrocks Against Dystrophy (R).  Donate a Shamrock in the name of each of your clients, then send a blast email letting them know where their names can be found.  Or, mail them each a small shamrock with a note explaining your donation.

6.  Tickets to the Local Home or Garden Show.  You may be able to purchase bulk tickets at a discount - check with the organizers of the show.

Client Appreciation Event

7.  Contact Your Favorite Clients to Organize a Float for the Local Memorial Day Parade.  How great it would be to build and ride in a float with some of your best clients.  Better get started now!

Oh, all your ideas are great. Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait to get some flowers to pop by with. Even some seed packets or starter plants for all the gardeners in our area would be nice.

Kathryn, These are all good:)  As our Coaching has taught us, these small goodies, every month, do make our business better!   We have a local Candy factory in town.  Munson's.  There chocolate is outstanding!  I purchase gold wrapped chocolate coins and pass those out to my clients with a cute tag line for St Patrick's Day:)  Sometimes the tagline is more appreciated than the gift!
