Mothers' Day, Peace and Open Houses

Happy Mothers' Day 2007, ladies.

Everyone I have spoken to is surprised that I decided to hold an open house on Mothers' Day.  They all seem to think that no one will show up.  I don't know, maybe some of the mothers in the area might want to look for their new home on the holiday.  If they are, I will be hosting the open house in Whittier at 11041 Reichling Lane.  Maybe I can help them get the house they have always wanted for their families.

In the meantime, please enjoy this video about Mothers' Day for Peace and the origin of the holiday, created by Julia Ward Howe in 1870:

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the Mother's Day wish. I wish the same to all the mothers on active rain. I am also doing an open house tomorrow but I am splitting it with an associate in my office. I will do the first half and she will do the second half. We are both mothers so this way we will each be able to do our job and still spend time with our family. We are hoping that we will sell the house and if we do, that will be our Mother's Day present. Good luck with your open house.

I think you'll have activity at the open house. Families will be relaxing, maybe going out to lunch. Good luck!

I have a buyer out looking on mother's day. Her mother lives in another state and she is single!  So, I hope that you have a lot of activity.  Happy mother's day to all the deserving moms.

Thanks, Bob.  The video is great.  I never knew how or the real reason Mother's Day began.

Good luck with your open house.  To me Mother's Day means mothers shouldn't have to work, but it will be very nice for those mothers who have a day off and want to look at some homes to have some open houses to go to.
