Weather Diversity

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with SnowHome Properties

Talked with my daughter, Adrienne, today.  She’s in Denver, an hour east of here, and 4,000 feet lower.  She’s jealous.  They are having balmy weather.  We are getting snow.   She is a snowboarder.  I prefer golf.  So, in a sense, we should switch places.  But, we are otherwise where we want to be, and happy that we have the weather we do.  And also happy that we are so close to the other extreme.  Diversity is that close.  An hour away, and I could be playing golf, and she could be shredding.

She’ll visit soon.  And I will visit her.  So, life is good.

That's one of the great things about living in Southern California.

You can go surfing in the morning and then come back, pack up the car and head up to the mountains "Big Bear" and go snow boarding....then, on your way back, perhaps stop at Disneyland or maybe stop by Lake Elsinore and go jet skiing.

Life is good in the CA!  Also in the OC!

Welcome back to blogging, Ken!

That's what Older Son loves about living in the San Francisco Bay area - he can choose on a given day whether to go to the beach or go skiing. Florida just didn't offer him those options (at least without getting on a plane).

Wow. Snow already? Im jealous. Is that normal there?

We went to Vail Nov. of last year and I have never in my life seen that much snow. It was absolutely beautiful!
