I have been climbing the Activerain Mountain for a couple of years now and I can tell you it has helped me and my business in several ways.

1. I have learned more from the members on AR than any class I have ever taken. The members are honest and straightforward when you ask a question. This has something to do with the fact that we are not competing for business. Funny when I ask a question to a local agent I get a blank face... when I ask the same question to the members of Activerain I get 100+ comments!

2. My business has grown. I have connected with several agents across the nation and have given and gotten several referrals. With a network this large, you can not help but build great relationships!

3. I have learned more about Blogging, Twitter, Facebook and Seo than I really wanted to know. Many people are getting so active on Social Networking and it seems for a lot of us (myself included) that AR is the foundation of these networks. I for one am sticking with AR, the other networks are secondary...

So here I am at 399,955 points about to break 400,000 on AR and I want to tell you the members (and the AR staff)

Thank You!

I too have learned a lot from the AR members.  I love reading all the blogs and knowing other Realtors have the same ups and downs that I do.

Charles, It almost seems like we are living in a resource based economy than a monetary one here on the internet.

Congratulations Charlies on the 400,000  that is quite a milestone.  You are 100% CORRECT, there is no other networking like Active Rain.  I am so glad to have met you and many other fine folks here.  Keep on posting and I will keep on reading.  Kudos to you for a Job well done!

Charles - Congratulations!  This milestone certainly requires a high level of dedication and expertise.  Thanks, for sharing along the way.  I'll hit 100,000 at some point this year, but the knowledge that I have gained from this site is barely quantifiable.

Wow...I'm impressed. Bully for you a milestone for sure.  I do enjoy AR and have been a member for 2 1/2 years. New things show up lately....like I'm wondering about answering your own comment to your own blog in a "blue box" what's that all about ?  How do I activate it and is it scored on my point summary??

Patricia - The blue box is a new feature of AR (I used to Bold my comments on my own blog)... No points for it as I understand it...

Jim - LOL!!! I am just riding your coat-tail!

Wow, look at all of those points.

I have not used AR on a regular basis until Jan 2009.  I started using it more and realized benefits THANKS to the advice of Diane Aurit with RE/MAXat the Lake.  I truly have learned more here than any class.  I too have learned more about SEO, blogging and Twitter.

Have a great week!

Hi Charles—I've found life in the Rain just as you described... the depth of knowledge and the openess with which it is shared is the BEST! I use other social networks, but AR is my primary too. Congratulation on soon joining the ranks of the 400K Klub!
