What has happened while I was busy living life? It seems a law was passed that when your cell phone rings you must answer it.  I can't tell you the number of times I have been helping an agent and right in the middle of it the phone rings and they quickly say hold on and answer the call.  Isn't that why they created voice mail?  Now I understand a call can be a client, sick friend or family member but come on, just recently I was exposed to a conversation about dinner last night while I was waiting to finish answering a question.

You sit in a nice place to eat and see two people talking on the phone, some date huh?  Now yes I answer my phone toooo much and yes I text way to much BUT how about some manners here.

Repeat after me "My cell phone is for my conveniencenot yours" and "I will be considerate of others when using my cell phone".  Oh and quit yelling into your phone, I don't need the details on your recent surgery!!!  Cell yellars please stop.

Dick, I would be really ticked off if I were you when YOU are taking your time HELPING that agent with their technology and they answer their phone!

I hear you Dick.  I hope you are doing well.  I will be calling you soon to talk about the website.  Almost done.  I can't wait, its already taken 2 months longer than I wanted.  How is the new business going?

Unless the call is an emergency, if I am with a client, I don't answer the phone.  My client has my undivided attention.  Great post.

I agree.  Unless the call is money-a current hot prospect-not much overrides money, then voice mail is preferred.  Someone even suggested letting all your calls go to voicemail so that people will be impressed how quickly you return calls.
