I have always appreciated a good comedian for their use of levity to make serious points. Jon Stewart, whether you agree with his particular point of view or not, is one of the sharpest wits around. His The Daily Show has been entertaining viewers and aggravating pundits, politicians, and anyone in the publi eye for years. Last week he had a particularly relevant and entertaining commentary on the current economic situation and whether the self-annointed experts are really so expert. This is an 8+ minute video but it is worth watching, so sit back enjoy...

Rich - I am with you, I don't always (make that not often) agree with Jon, but the clip is very well done and well researched.

Jon Stewart...Is a god..even as he bashed the Republicans he could have fun with McCain, he is the ring master..and the king of Sarcasm. I want to be Jon when I grow up.

Alan - I had somehow missed this and I am all over the internet almost daily. I too think it is pretty hysterical.

Fred - I never watch The Daily Show on regular TV but I often see clips on the net. I generally find Jon Stewart pretty funny. I agree that the research was first rate.

Steve - His ascerbic wit doesn't miss many people in the spotlight. ...and one day Steve, if you're a good boy and you wish hard enough, you can be Jon Stewart.

Kim - I thought the exact same thing! It reminded me of when Whoopi Goldberg did her stand up years ago called Direct From Broadway (1985). It was hysterical and poignant.
