Thought this might be a good one to pass on to my AR buddies. A long time friend of mine sends out a once a month email to her girlfriends to remind them to do a monthly breast self exam. I'll freely admit to using her idea (with her permission) and have been sending out a reminder to my friends and clients on a once a month schedule for some time now. I get great feedback from it and it's another non-invasive way to keep my name in front of my clients as well performing a public service.

Hello Girls! It's time to remember to take care of yourself and do your monthly breast self exam. It takes almost no time and helps early detection. I know more survivors than victims. And I think the statistic is somewhere around 80% of breast cancers that have had no family history of it. Don't forget also to schedule an appointment to have your mammogram- yes, TODAY!
