Since the day he got here, Jeremy Blanton has been building community. He has written more tutorial posts than just about anyone on the network with the exception of those being paid to do so. Of those members joining in 2008, Jeremy was the top contributor. I've seen him out answering other members questions on so many occassions I stopped giving him bonus points for good behavior (I was almost out). His selfless presence on the network is exactly the kind of culture we strive for here at ActiveRain.......so with that said.......

We figured it was time he started getting paid for his contributions to the network.

(NOTE TO ALL ACTIVERAIN MEMBERS: Every and all inquiries that you had planned on sending to Brad and/or me can now be sent directly to Jeremy. Brad and I are going on vacation.......)

On a serious note, this actually gives us our first employee in the Eastern Time Zone. So with this move we really hope to be able to assist those of you on the other coast a little bit better (or at the least, a little earlier). Jeremy has been a valuable asset to our community since he first came on board as a Realtor in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Adding another member of the community to the staff really helps us expand on an already stellar team. Having someone that knows what it's like to be in the trenches selling real estate on a day to day basis helps us to serve the needs of the community even better.

I'm looking forward to working with you Jeremy and anyone that is going to be at RETechSouth in Atlanta on March 20th will be able to meet Jeremy in person as that will be his first official event representing ActiveRain.

(Although you will have to settle for a handshake and an affirmative nod, he is not allowed to speak in public until he passes some grueling initiation procedures)
