Spring Training and Spring Fever!

You have to love springtime.

The temperature starts to climb,

Flowers begin to bloom,

Birds begin to sing,

and Pitchers and Catchers Report!

I am absolutely a baseball nut! I have been called a purist, disagreeing with the Wild Card, arguing against inter-league and even the World Baseball Classic has been a fly in my soup. But every season I love the game even more. The changes made always seem to be what is best for the game (except the all star game winner getting home field in the world series).

I would like it very much if as a fan you would comment with who your favorite team is, as well as your sworn enemy!

I will start....

I love the New York Mets

I lothe the Atlanta Braves

Here's to another great season!

Ha ha...I'm right there with you buddy as a life long Mets fan, the Braves have been a thorn in the Mets side for a long, long time. The Phillies are creeping up though as the newest thorn however. It's good that at least the Mets are competitive every year now...not like the doldrums of the late 70's / early 80's. Can't wait to see the new Citi Field this year. Enjoy the season!
