How fun Michelle! It's amazing and such a tribute that this event has gone on for so long. Can't wait to see the "after" photos... and tell the hubby not to be such a stick in the mud! Your AR friends love to see your photos and he needs to help humor us!

Debbie in Lebanon:  I picked up the flyer the other day and when I was reading, I saw the homes.  I went through my pictures and I was so excited to see that they were the same.  I am looking forward to actually going to the town of Eufaula and being able to view the homes at leisure versus admiring them from the car as my husband says we have to get there and refuses to stop.  I have gathered some other Military Spouses and we are planning a over night trip.  I also discovered yesterday, there is a ghost walk, which we are adding to the agenda.  Husbands - not a fun traveling partner!!!

Hi Michelle - historic homes are always a favorite of mine...can't help but try to put myself in them mentally during the time they were built.  Must be the history buff in me!  Hope the tour was great.
