On January 7, 2009 we got a lead via our website from a prospect seller. This seller lives in California, for the sake of this post I'll call him Jim.
Jim typed into a form that said he had a Lake Sinclair property he needed to sell. Nancy Ewing was the on duty agent at Lane Realty that day, so the lead got put into her hands.
Jim had kindly included his phone number so instead of emailing him, Nancy picked up the phone and called. She got voice mail, so she also followed up with an email.
In a matter of minutes Jim called Nancy back and said he'd filled out multiple forms and we'd gotten back to him quickly.
He also indicated that he wanted to know about our company marketing plan. He already liked our web presence, after all he found us right there on the first page on google.
So Nancy emailed him our marketing plan, found out where the "hide a key" was located and did the CMA. Jim was happy with the realistic marketing price we gave him and listed the property just three days later.
Well on March 5, 2009 Jim's proceeds from the sale of his property were wired into his account.
Now of course I am not about to guarantee quick results on a listing in this market! But with the right price and the right firm who knows, it could happen.
