Here in Southern Oregon, social networking is taking hold. From Active Rain to Facebook to Twitter, more and more people are discovering the benefits and enjoyment to be found in social networking. What about the personal contact, though? I'm hearing about peer groups meeting around the US to keep the personal contact in the equation.
So, fellow Southern Oregon Active Rainers, want to meet each other in person once a month? How about Southern Oregons on Facebook? Or Twitterers located here in Southern Oregon, how about you? A couple of my favorite Twitterers, @inProgress and @inWorship have tweeted me about this same topic, and we're going to discuss having a TweetUp at our local chapter of American Red Cross and help fill their coffers with blood donations. Another favorite Twitter, @BrokerKathy might make Ashland a pit stop on her journey to REBar Camp in Portland in April so we may finally meet in person.
