"If You Don't Care, Keep It To Yourself!" Let's All Be Courteous Of One Another..

By
Real Estate Agent with Oakstone Properties, Homes in Richmond VA

"If you don't care, keep it to yourself!"   Let's all be courteous of one another.  I have ended the title of a couple of my blogs this way.  I am not trying to be rude I assure you.  A while back, I wrote a blog that had to do with the most important document in American history.  One of the responses was from someone who thought they should tell me how irrelevant it was.

We all blog about some important topics and some topics that are not so important (at least to everyone), what matters is that we took the time to do it.  If someone takes the time to write a blog that you have no interest in, just move on.  None of us need to get feedback from someone that doesn't care.  If you comment about a certain topic in the post or have some info to pass on then that's great, but if you want to be condescending, do it on your own blog.

Thank you all in advance for considering what I have said.  Most of you on Active Rain do not need to be told this because you have been very considerate and I appreciate it.

That was an extremely rude and unnecessary comment for someone to leave about your post.

Well said. That goes way back to, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Now I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a spirited debate or an honest question to someone's comment but there are so many topics on which to comment, it's a shame people feel the need to rip someone apart simply because their ideas differ.

Positivity is contagious. Catch it!

It is a shame that some peoplehave to be chided like children, but thatt's the real world. Hopefully, there won't be much need for this kind of reminder, now that you've set them straight!

I agree with Donna - If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything al all.  All in all, AR members are friendly, nice and positive thinkers, but you always find one or two out of the norm in any group.  I have learned to ignore them and move on.

Nate, I agree with you 100%  Remember there are some negative people, and since it's YOUR blog, just click the DELETE key and POOF!  their negative comments will vanish forever.  Sometimes you have to do that with the negative comments in person too.  ;)
