7 Comments on Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona: Home of the acrobatic A-10
I lived in Sierra Vista for just over 3 years not too long ago. I used to love watching the A-10's flying over.
Kevin,
Great job of showcasing the Davis Monthan Air Force base and the A-10. I'm giving you a feature here in the Military Relocation group.
Bill,
Thanks for sharing. Air show season is around the corner in the eastern U.S, so the pilots are here practicing to get ready for it. There's been a wide variety aircraft that we normally don't get to see flying over.
Cynthia,
Thank you. I truly appreciate the compliment and the feature.
Kevin,
This is my favorite warplane! Congratulations on the Feature; Cynthia doesn't give those out easily. :)

I just came back to say that I joined the group Military Relocations as a result of your post; AR has some very focused groups, and I'm glad to have found this one.

Great article Kevin. A few years ago I saw something spectacular from Valencia just before the DM Air Show - an A-10 and a Spitfire flying in close formation. Amazing to see.
Nothing quite like the roar of that 30mm cannon huh?
