Guess who is giving away a house?

Our local radio stations in Barrie, KOOL 107.5 and ROCK 95 are giving away a house with Zancor Homes. All you have to do is phone in and be caller number seven. You get a golden key and are invited to attend a party with all the key winners. One lucky person will find that their key opens the lock on the prize house and the dream prize house is theirs to call home. How easy is that!

Advantage Staging can be heard during this prize house give away contest at 8:30 a.m. each morning on KOOL 107.5 encouraging homeowners to have an advantage in the marketplace by Staging their homes for sale.

After all, when you win a dream home you still have to sell your old one and get the most equity out of it to buy the plasma TV with surround sound movie room, new furniture, landscaping, inground pool with cabana, hot tub...........ooops! I was dreaming of winning the prize house again!

That's fantastic! What a great way to promote your business and reward a lucky homeowner with a NEW house at the same time! I wish we lived a little closer to Ontario, so we could get a key, but there's always hope for HGTV"s Dream House Giveaway! ;)

Hi Maureen, it is a great promotion for everyone, the whole town is talking about it!

Hi Michelleand Michele, it is what is needed right now to lift everyone's hopes for the future. Now the people in town are talking about something positive. The best stimulus package anyone could have hoped for.

My proposal to the radio station and the home builder is this as the builder will not say where the house is or what it looks like to the public-

The local regional mall has all the big stores in it. I proposed to build a stage in front of the each of the main decor stores for one day each week the last month of the contest. I would stage one room from the house each week with the products from one of the decor stores.

A local sign business that typically wraps vehicles will go to the model home, take a picture of the interior of the master bedroom, the living room, the dining room etc. and then wrap the interior of the stage walls with the look of the room I am staging. That way, I would be bringing the prize house to the public without them actually being there in person. It will create quite the buzz, get local TV and radio coverage. Be posted as a time lapse video on youtube, my site, their site. Hope they go for it!

Hi Kimberly, thank you for the good wishes, they are appreciated. The builder is considering staging the prize house for the big day only as he does not want to disturb the neighbourhood or his existing clients in the neighbourhood. I know, a missed opportunity for marketing for everyone but that is his decision to make and his clients needs come first. I am hoping the Staging in the mall takes place. It has never been done before on this level and I think it will be an unprecedented marketing opportunity for everyone involved.

Hi Monica,thank you for the good wishes and let me know if you hear the commercial. I finally had my company name put on one of my vehicles. It is a nice tie in with the radio exposure, people see me around town and connect the two. Have got two jobs in 1 week from it.

Hi Cathy, in this market it is all about the marketing you do to drive traffic to your listings. The Home Stagers and Realtors that work in tandem will be the winners at the end of this fiscal year.

Hi Virginia, No pressure, I recorded the commercial and change it slightly weekly to keep it updated. The lead in before the news is live and that is done by the news announcer. This is a huge marketing opportunity for me. Will keep everyone posted as we go along.
