I just want to run around and decorate every thing with these cute little green Leprechauns and clover. We have a large bulletin board that we decorate for holidays in our home school area for our son. He loves decorating the board and one of his funnest times to decorate the board is for St Patrick's Day too. At the same time I teach a bit about Ireland since I am Latvian ( mother's side) and Irish (Father's side). We study the flag, the country and count all the castles. Counting castles is so much fun for an active imagination of a 6 year old!
So if you want to get into the spirit of St Patrick's day check out some of the fun clip art I found on Iclipart. Iclipart has the best St Patrick's day clipart. There are actually over 16 pages of St Patricks' Day clipart on this site. Well, actually they have the best clip art for any occasion with over 7.8 Million images.
What I love the most is how easy it is to use. You just go to your account, put the keywords in of what you want to find, click download and choose the size you want to download, right click and save to your picture files. The best part about IClipart is that the terms of use state that you are allowed to use the clipart for business and personal use. So you can use it on your websites and blogs. I am a really avid spokesperson for the iclipart because it is the best that I have used and found online. I no longer have to take any chances about what is permissible to use in business and what is not.
In fact, for St Patrick's day you can make your own party invitations with the clipart, your own place name decorations for the table and many other arts and craft projects for the holiday. You can use it for your school projects and charity events. The list goes on and on and ways that you can use the clipart. They even have clipart for those fancy embroidery machines to add to your jackets and hats. The price can not be beat for $34.95 per year of use for a single user. I spent way more than that in just a couple of months of Istock photos. A buck a photo sure adds up fast when you are blogging. Schools can get a school license for only $200 for the year for up to 10 computers! You can also download the clipart to your computer as jpg, png, gif, pdf, files and different sizes from small avatar 100 pixels sizes to super large sizes of over 1200 pixels. You can also size them down in your AR editor. I download most in 400 pixels and change it to 350 in the AR editor. That size works great on blog posts for AR, Activeblogs and Localism.
All the images that I do not take myself are from Iclipart that you see on my blog. So if you like my clipart you can get it for your blog too and when you do; you buy me a glass of my favorite carrot/green drink at Whole Foods since I am an affiliate of Iclipart. By clicking on my links in this post to get your clipart for the best price on the Internet, you are fully aware that I will make a few bucks. I think it is like $4 to $8 bucks, don't even recall. I am making full disclosure right here right now. If you know what I mean:)!
