Bill - thanks, I got a lucky shot.

Vanessa - That is how I feel.  Until August - then I don't want to go outside at all.

JL - It is all around us - mountains and bluffs that change color constantly.

Jim - It would be a nice postcard, wouldn't it?

Donna - You are so right - we are lucky to be in this beautiful country.

Tad, Well, next time you are here, stop in and say Hi.

Pat - Those shadows are what made me pull over and take the shot.

Marchel - That view was really inspiring!

Teresa - You wouldn't believe how fast those shadows were moving across that huge mountain!

Bruce and Mary - I take that drive a lot, it is different everytime.

April - You are a long way from the desert - road trip?

Lisa - You can look at these mountains from almost anywhere in Mesquite, too, we are lucky.

Great shot.  Love the contrast between the desert mountains and the snow covered mountains in the background.

Viriginia, OMG. This picture is gorgeous! Is it close to where you live? Looks almost like a snow on mountains but luckily it's not:)

Hi Olena, actually this is Arizona and that is snow on the mountains.  The mountains are across the desert, I can see this from my front yard in Mesquite - the mountains are actually about 15 miles from here.

I've heard you have some amazing lighting storms there. Maybe you can get a shot of one of those! We have them here, but we see strikes maybe once every 5 minutes.

Todd, we do have some interesting storms, and desert fires resulting in the summer.  It is wierd to watch the helicopters vacuum up water from the golf course ponds to take to the fire in the hills.

Gary - we are lucky to have these views from all over Mesquite.
