Hawaii Chess Federation LogoKamehameha Elementary School chess team wins in Tennessee. 

They traveled from Honolulu to Nashville to show the folks on the mainland that their win in Florida was no fluke.

Have you ever played Chess?  I used to but not in a long time.  In grade school (I think 5th grade) I was in a Chess club.  That was kindof nerdy back then. :)

Lucky - I am the President of the Hawaii Chess Federation.  Been playing Chess for almost 42 years. I do not play as much anymore, I focus on teaching youngsters higher level thinking skills through the use of Chess.

I was the biggest kid in school, so I didn't worry about being called a nerd.  LOL
