Historic Garden Week in  Lynchburg, Virginia

This is one of my favorite ways to spend a  spring day in Virginia- attend the open houses on Historic Garden Day. Tour the immaculately landscaped grounds then tour the inside of some of Lynchburg's most beautiful homes. This year, Garden Day is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Lynchburg's Garden Day is sponsored by:

The Hillside Garden Club
The Lynchburg Garden Club

For information or directions, contact:
The Lynchburg Chamber Visitor's Information Center
Telephone (434) 847-1811

TICKETS:  Full tickets $20, single-site admission $8.  Full ticket for minors 6-12 years old $10 and $4 for single-site admission.  Children 5 and under admitted free of charge.  The day of the tour, tickets will be available at each home.  Advance tickets may be ordered with a credit card at an additional charge by accessing http://www.vagardenweek.org/.

LUNCHEON:  BOX LUNCHES:  Eat-in or carry-out lunches are available at Oakwood Country Club from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a prepaid cost of $10.  Advance reservations are required by calling Sarah Kibler at Oakwood (434) 384-8181 ext. 100.

Howdy there Debbie, my friend

What in the world is a Vacation, seen that I've not not taken one in over 18 years. Not sure if I would even know what to do or how to act. LOL

Hope you are having lots of fun. Historic Garden sure are nice to go look at.

God Bless America
