I am taking a side track from my typical posts to talk about a little bit about my sports hobbies.
I do play Fantasy Football, Baseball and Basketball. Plus I always look forward to March Madness. I really pay little attention anymore as far as watching games. I just don't find the time. There are things I would rather be doing.
However, I still like staying connect to friends by doing these things. I also like having players and teams to root for and follow throughout the year.
In season right now is Basketball and March Madness; with Baseball around the corner. We are actually in the playoffs of Basketball. I had three teams this year and two of them took last in the league. Ouch! My other team is pretty good and could make a run in the playoffs coming from the 5th seed out of 12. Last year I won the playoff title. So I am hoping to defend it this year!
March Madness was maybe my first love. I would skip school to watch the NCAA tournament. Now I don't know much about who is good other then looking at the rankings. Its still fun to pick the bracket and see how it goes.
Fantasy baseball has entering draft season so tonight for the first time I spent about 45 minutes looking things over. Not sure if it helped much but I need to figure out keepers and make a trade or too.
Its important to have hobbies you do for fun. I like these and wish all who do these good luck in your seasons!
