Actions of police chief, real estate agent may have been "boneheaded" but not criminal-judge

New Glasgow - The actions of Stellarton's police chief and a Pictou County real estate agent may have been "stupid, maybe boneheaded" when they attempted to serve an eviction notice in Lower Barneys River last summer, but they weren't criminal, a judge has ruled.
Judge Robert White gave his decision in New Glasgow provincial court this morning, finding Chief Ambrose Heighton and Sherry Blinkhorn not guilty of a charge of mischief.
The pair was charged with willfully interfering or interrupting with the lawful use of a property after the July 14, 2006 incident on Shore Road....
