4 Comments on Building Green Homes
Mark, I'm in the process of renewing my license and one of things I looking at for non required learning is getting my eco certification. I am starting to get a lot more people asking me about green housing. (I had green fridge in college, but that was something completely different)
Todd,
Was it green on the inside? or???
I think that you would have a real advantage down in Oregon if you had your EcoBroker designation. I am not a big believer in having the entire alphabet behind your name on your business card but this is going to be huge for the future of our business.
Good luck!
I'm not answering the first question on the grounds it could prove I was a slob in college.

But, I think you are right about the eco designation and the present market here in the Northwest.
Glad to see you are back!
Mark,
I came across your posting regarding green building. Great for you for attending a seminar at Earth Advantage! I work for New Tradition Homes, and as you probably have heard, we are the largest local green builder. We are Earth Advantage Gold and Energy Star Certified, so if you have any clients in the area interested in owning a brand new green built home let us know! We have green certified agents and a building science team to help out with your clients needs and questions.
Thanks,
Laura Bellcoff
