How to Be a Good Neighbor...On Howard Avenue in South Tampa...Or Anywhere

I think most people could agree on what it means to be a good neighbor.  Be considerateOffer to help whenever you can. And, don't put up "NO PARKING" signs when there is a parking crisis in the neighborhood where you operate a very profitable business that relies on a local clientele.

In South Tampa, South Howard Avenue, or "SOHO", is filled with restaurants, bars, and shopping.  It is part of what is so special about South Tampa.  They are local merchants, not big chains.  Some of the merchants in the area are very good neighbors.  When their stores are closed, their parking spots are available to neighboring restaurants for their evening business.  It is the right thing to do...the neighborly thing.

Very Positive post. I like the way you include your market area by name.

Thanks Tina...there is a parking crisis in the neighborhood and they just don't want to "play nice"...To that I say...there is plenty of produce and prime meat just down the street...Imagine the good press and the increased business they would get if they were the "good" neighbor?
