As I see it. . . . . . . .

There are times that what goes on around us will be outside of our control.  

Our first step is to determine what we can control and what we are unable to control.  

There are times that we can't control our surroundings or what's going on outside us. We can control, is what we do in those situations and that comes from within us.

What we have control over, is what goes on inside us.   

We can control our choices, our attitude, our thinking and what actions we take.  

We have the choice to have a healthy positive attitude and positive thinking or we have the choice to be negative.  

When we have a positive attitude and our thinking is positive we make far better decisions and we take proactive steps and actions.  

Make the decision to control those things that are within us.

Lou, Wayne Dyer is my all time favorite author. When I was 18 years old a friend of mine handed me his book, Pulling Your Own Strings. I have read that book no less than 20 times. I have read his books and listen to him each time I hear him speaking.  I love the messages he sends.

Lou ...great advice...I wish you would have posted this yesterday morning....I had to change a wheel bearing in Becky's car and it wasn't going well....And I didn't control what was going on inside my head very well....needless to say I am sure I looked like an ass yelling at the car...Next time I do that I will be thinking of your quote.....thanks for the advice....peace zane
