I can't believe it! We just received our first POST in a new State because of ActiveRain.... Check out www.realestatenugget.com

Real Estate Broker/Owner with RealEstateNugget.com

I'm so excited about the power of networking, and the real power of Active Rain.  Days ago I launched www.realestatenugget.com, our new FREE listing site for commercial and residential real estate....  I've been inviting brokers to visit our site and POST their properties.

And today we reached an exciting milestone:  We received Listing Posts in Florida!  This is really cool for me because I'm based in Oregon.  Our website is designed to be national, but there's something really rewarding to plant the seed and watch it grow.  There's a first for everything.  We're hoping that this will just continue to grow, but we need you all to POST.  There's no reason not to.  It's a great way to cross market and continue building on your SEO strategy, and when you post your properties, it brings exposure to your listings as well.  You kill two birds with one stone!

Ultimately the success of our website has everything to do with YOU.  We need your support.  We need you to post your properties on www.realestatenugget.com.

The beauty of our website is the fact that you gain EXPOSURE not only for your listings, but for your name, your company, and your business.  You can easily link to your website in our property description field.  So you get the benefits of solid SEO strategy, while also getting your listings out there to the world.

Also, our listings stay on the site until you sell your property.  And once you've created an account, our site is an excellent place from which you can manage multiple listings fast and easy.

Check us out at www.realestatenugget.com and POST YOUR PROPERTIES!

Thanks for helping make this a reality!  (Oh yeah, check out our Mission link to read more about what we're doing.....)

Matthew, congrats on the achievement.  Some questions for you:

  • Are FSBO's able to list their properties there?
  • How will the data be kept up to date?  For instance, will you require re-posting every 3 months?  Or will the listing stay there indefinitely until it is removed by the poster?  I can see the latter becoming a problem down the road because sold listings would remain on the site and when enough of these remain the integrity of the data is compromised.
  • How are you driving traffic to your site?

Thanks.

Love the comments!  Thanks to all of you for your curiousity and support.

Links are ready for you to click:   www.realestatenugget.com

Maggie brings up a valid concern about the freshness of information.  We will be managing listings after a certain shelf life, and emailing them asking them to either refresh or delete.  We're still early in the game, but eventually, we'll be able to track 'sold' data when people manage their listings and ultimately build a comparable sales data base.

All of this to come....  Right now, we need people to POST.

I've been explaining that POSTING is really a great way for you to continue enhancing your SEO strategy because you can link to your website is our description box field and gain exposure for your business and listings.

-Thanks to you all!

Matthew
