Inland Lakes Railway offers several different train experiences.

Whether it be sightseeing during the middle of the day and enjoying lunch on the Magnolia Sun Lunch Train. Or a romantic evening dinner ride on the Orange Blossom Dinner Train.  To even an all nighter onboard the Vintage Pullman Sleeping Car Service.

They even have special holiday events for the children...  Take ride with the Easter Bunny, or take a ride to the Great Pumpkin Patch, or hop a ride to the North Pole on Santa's Winter Wonderland Express.

Visit their website for schedules, rates, and events...

When I get to experience this first hand, I will come back to share.

Here is a picture that I caught of the train with my camera phone, so pardon the picture quality:

Don't worry... the train was in the station when I took the shot.

Here is another from Lake Eustis Boardwalk:

And if you think you can get away with a little something on the sleeper car, I found this painted on the train. :)

Jason-

Why so sad? You seem awefully BLUE!  Get it?  Ha! I crack myself up.

Jason, a few years ago I bought tickets to a fundraising dinner aboard one of our local trains.  It was different, but very enjoyable, my wife and I felt like we were part of the past.

Marc,

Like I said, the photos were taken with the camera phone.  I did not know when I took the photos that I could set it for different settings.  It looks like it used the indoor low light setting, which would explain the bluish hues.

I will make sure that in the future I use the right settings (now that I know how to do it).

George,

I will let you know about the feeling of being in the past when I go for the dinner ride.  My mother-in-law loves trains.  She is coming up next week to visit, so we will probably take her on it for a belated mother's day present.
