tripping through the tulips...

I love flowers. I enjoy them whenever I see them. There are few flowers I do not find appealing. However, initially I was not a tulip fan, but as with most things... given some time to develop an appreciation for something I found something to appreciate. So it is with tulips. It seems every time I turn around I see a tulip, I'm receiving tulips or thinking about planting them so they'll be around next year to enjoy. The following photos are part of my recent love affair with—tulips.

Such a vibrant, gorgeous flower.  Tulips are the first hints of spring to coming in our area.  They do not last long but give a great first impression of the wonderful explosion of flowers yet to come.  Beautiful photos!

Hi Sea/Sky"Li"—I knew you had a "real" name and I just found it. It's strange how we don't care about something and then something happens to change our minds... I'm glad this happened for you with tulips too. Thanks and have a great week!

Linda, I really do like tulips although their time for blooming seems oh so short.

Hi Kathy—The tulips were a gift from a friend in Hawaii. I wanted to capture them before they faded so I could see them after whenever I wanted. Thanks for stopping by... I appreciate your interest. Have a great week!
