Summerlin has been growing in leaps and bounds for years. Things have slowed down in Summerlin just like the rest of the Las Vegas valley. My concern is one for many people to ask themselves.. Summerlin has what is calll Summerlin dues. It's a monthly fee that pays for landscaping, parks and many other wonderful amenities. It depends on what part of Summerlin you're living in will deceiver how much you spend a month. Residents in North Summerlin pay more per month than the rest of the Summerlin residents (it's a larger portion of Summerlin).
So as a RE/MAX agent that sells a lot of Summerlin I am seeing so many foreclosures throughout Summerlin. I can imagine homeowners are not paying their monthly fees. If they aren't paying their SIDS, sewer bills and other bills related to maintaining the property they don't have the money to pay their Summerlin dues.
I wonder if Summerlin is cutting back on any expenses to balance out the loss of dues coming in? I am going to check into this somemore to see if they are cutting back like the rest of us.
If you know anything about cut backs in Summerlin's spending would you please let me know. Thanks, Penny
